A rich business program, formed by the organizer in close collaboration with manufacturers and industry experts, creates new opportunities for exhibitors to increase sales of their products.
One of the most discussed topics in the industry is the implementation of labeling – as a tool to reduce the volume of illicit trafficking in industrial products.
A series of business events will be dedicated to this topic during the Textile & Home exhibition. Manufacturers and retailers who have already implemented this mechanism of product protection and use it for business development will talk about the details and features of the introduction of digital marking, and the first results of 2019.
At present, Russia is conducting voluntary experiments on labeling products in several industries. According to the decree of the government of the Russian Federation, a list of 10 product groups has been approved, which from 2019 are subject to mandatory labeling. These are tobacco, perfumes, shoes, tires and pneumatic tires, cameras and flash lamps, as well as five groups of light industry products. The deadline for the introduction of labeling of tobacco products is March 1, 2019, for shoes – July 1, 2019, for other groups of goods – December 1, 2019.
